A color plan
‘a color plan’, drawing/painting in a sketchbook
I never make color plans. So this is a very rare view in my sketchbook. I was investigating the colors of the Bayeux Tapestry because I wanted to design a playset about it for a course. I’m still working on that one.
But this color plan was in the end more of an inspiration because of the colored squares which became a tree. Whatever happens in the artistic brain is okay, I guess.
And by the way: don’t you think that all these color names read like a poem? For instance: ‘Your indanthrene colored eyes were so beautiful when I saw you sitting in the grasshopper green grass.’
